SHANGHAI, CHINA. – Sept. 15, 2026 – Demand for advanced purification solutions is growing as industries look to improve performance while using less water and fewer natural resources. Industries are increasingly turning to advanced separation, purification and recovery solutions to support water stewardship, circular resource management, regulatory compliance and more resilient supply chains. To meet that demand, Ecolab Life Sciences, a division of Ecolab Inc. (NYSE: ECL), today announced the opening of a new resin manufacturing facility in Quzhou, China.

The investment expands Ecolab's resin manufacturing capacity and further strengthens its global manufacturing network, underscoring the company’s continued investment in the Life Sciences business and commitment to long-term growth. The facility produced its first customer shipments in July and was formally opened today during a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by members of Ecolab’s executive leadership team.

"As the world's most essential industries grow, so does the need for more advanced purification solutions," said Christophe Beck, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Ecolab. "Our investment in Quzhou allows us to innovate alongside our customers, support their growth and help them achieve high performance while using fewer natural resources."

The Quzhou plant reflects Ecolab's continued investment in its global manufacturing and innovation network, expanding resin manufacturing capacity across critical industrial, environmental and infrastructure applications. The site combines expanded resin manufacturing capacity with a new co-located research, development and engineering center, bringing together teams from Ecolab's Deqing and Quzhou facilities. The high-tech facility produces resins critical to helping enhance customer process efficiency and shorten manufacturer lead times.

"This new facility further strengthens Ecolab's position as a global supplier of advanced purification solutions by expanding our ability to serve high-growth markets and critical customer applications worldwide," said Hayley Crowe, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Global Life Sciences, Ecolab. "By bringing manufacturing and RD&E closer together, we can accelerate innovation, respond more quickly to growing demand and harness expertise of our talented teams to deliver the quality, reliability, and technical excellence customers expect from Ecolab.”

"China is an important market for advanced manufacturing, and our customers continue to raise the bar on performance, quality and efficiency," said Christina Kong, Greater China Market Lead, Ecolab. "Quzhou strengthens our ability to serve customers locally while connecting them to Ecolab's global capabilities and supply network."

For more than 100 years, Ecolab has helped customers grow and improve performance while using fewer natural resources. The company’s new Quzhou facility extends that impact to meet growing demand for advanced purification solutions around the world.
